I was introduced to this place by a friend who lives nearby. They highly recommend the Italian ice. It really was exceptional. The mango, lemon, and strawberry are all really good, with real fruit flavor, not artificial flavored, the ice is so fine like sherbet. I also love the bread stick. It was surprisingly good with marinara sauce. My friend told me that they have always been looking to go there because the chef like to tweak things, so you'll always have good surprises even with the same order, like cheese pizza. I would definitely go back again.

I drove all the way from Michigan to go to fabulous Freddy’s on 31st and it was worth every single mile. I ordered Italian beef . Best in the area (200 mile)and Italian meatball that was awesome.

The Italian Ice was absolutely delicious. Being able to pick multiple flavors within one cup allows you much more freedom with what flavors you are feeling like that day. The pineapple Italian ice was sweet with noticable bits of fruit within the ice, which is replicated with all the other flavors. Mango has small bits of fruit, and Raspberry has its seeds in the ice, adding another layer of freshness and texture. While we did not purchase anything savory, if you want something from here, grabbing a cup or two will make your taste buds thank you!

Been coming here for years. The food is good and prices are average for today's economy. The staff are what keeps you coming back. I've had a few errors in orders but they are always amazing at getting it fixed. It can get alil crowded and loud but if your a true Southsider it doesn't bother you at all & feels like home.

Honestly, I couldnt speak highly enough of this spot. I went once and had to go back because I couldn't stop thinking about it. I got the chicken parm sandwich and its easily the best chicken parm sammie I've ever eaten. I got fries too and theyre good, Id guess they cut them in house (that's my guess, they don't advertise it). They also make ITALIAN ICE!! Which is out of this world. Fast casual style place not far from Sox park, plenty of seating. Right off the intersection

Visited today for lunch with some girlfriend. This location was recommended by another friend. The Italian beef sandwich was so good. I had the combo beef and sausage. There was so much meat that it was falling out the sandwich when biting into the sandwich. I also ordered the fried Mac n cheese. That tasted like box Mac n cheese that was then fried. It was just ok to me. The location is kind of small but the tables and chairs were clean. I will definitely come back when in town.

Love Freddie’s! Never had anything from this restaurant that I did not like. Customer Service is also great! I ordered a Chicken Cesar Chicken Wrap and a Small Strawberry/Watermelon Italian Ice. The wrap was very flavorful. The chicken was juicy and not dried out. The lettuce was crisp and just the right amount of Cesar dressing. The Italian ice was good as always.
